An 8-hour boxing and fitness challenge where every punch counts. Ten teams pushing their limits to raise $100,000 to support Pan Am Place — the only transitional home in North America using combat sports to break the cycle of homelessness.
Pan Am Games 2026 is an intense 8-hour boxing and fitness challenge hosted by Pan Am Boxing Club — Winnipeg's oldest boxing gym, established 1968. Ten teams of five train together for weeks, then spend one day pushing their limits in the ring and on the mat.
Every punch counts. Every minute on the clock counts. Every dollar raised goes directly to Pan Am Place — the transitional home for young men fighting their way out of homelessness.
Teams are training now. The fundraising has already started.
Last year, the Pan Am Games raised $80,000 toward our $100,000 goal. This year, we're back to finish the job — same $100,000 goal, and every dollar still goes directly to Pan Am Place.
Every dollar raised at the Pan Am Games goes to Pan Am Place — a transitional home at 88 Arthur Street that takes in young men with nowhere else to go and gives them a real shot at a different life.
Pan Am Place takes young men aged 18 to 29 who come from foster care, treatment programs, shelters, and unstable situations. Many have dealt with addiction, incarceration, or gang involvement. What they all share is the need for a real chance to rebuild — structure, support, and accountability.
Every resident commits to a rigorous program: physical training three to four times a week at Pan Am Boxing Club, volunteer hours in the Exchange District, employment readiness, life skills, and a family that shows up every day. Residents don't get handed a second chance — they earn it.
A short tour of who Pan Am Place is, what the Pan Am Games event looks like, and how the program works.
Residents and staff in their own words — why Pan Am Place exists, and why it works.
Every path feeds the same goal — keeping a young man off the street and inside the program. Pick the one that fits.
Any amount, any time. $50 covers a week of meals for a resident. $2,000 supports a resident's full transformation for three months. Every dollar goes straight to the residents.

Choose Your Own AmountFive ways to back the Pan Am Games as a corporate sponsor. Each tier names exactly what your contribution does for the young men at Pan Am Place — pick the one that fits.
Two weeks of full support for one young man at Pan Am Place — housing, meals, and access to all programs. Or, directed to one initiative, a full month of boxing training and mentorship for four residents working to change their lives.
One full month of comprehensive support for one resident — housing, meals, mentorship, and access to programming. Or covers driver's education for three residents — the single most requested step toward independent employment.
Two full months of housing, meals, boxing training, and mentorship for one young man — covering the critical early stretch where the program's work is most visible, and where most progress is made.
Six months of comprehensive support for one resident — from his first week at Pan Am Place through the halfway point: stable housing, real mentorship, employment readiness, and the structure that keeps him moving forward.
A full year of comprehensive support for one young man at Pan Am Place — housing, meals, boxing training, mentorship, and employment readiness, from his first week off the streets to the day he moves into his own apartment with a job and a community behind him.
Every contribution at every tier is a charitable donation to Pan Am Place, a registered Canadian charity. You receive a tax receipt for the full amount — no memberships, no admissions, no exchange of goods or services that would reduce the eligible portion. For companies that prefer to structure the gift as a business expense, we’ll walk through that option too.
When you support Pan Am Place, you're not just donating — you're becoming part of the solution to homelessness in Winnipeg. Every dollar helps transform a life that society had given up on. Their fight is our fight.
